Sugar Detox Snack List

No carb left alone! All snack ideas are designed to have a balanced source of fat or protein with every fiber-dense carb to keep you feeling fuller and more satiated while sugar detoxing! Bonus-all snacks below are completely free of gluten, dairy and of course, added sugars/sweeteners.

DIY Plant-Rich Snacks

(if you have a little extra time to spend in the kitchen)

Raw carrots sticks dipped into 2 T creamy almond butter mixed with ½ tsp cinnamon (don’t knock it ‘til you try it!)

Leftover roasted veggies (toss broccoli & cauliflower in avocado oil and roast on a cookie sheet at 400 for 20-30 minutes, until fork tender) dipped into 2 T vegan pesto (traders sells a readymade one) 

½ cup Kite Hill plain greek yogurt mixed with 1 tsp Everything But The Bagel Seasoning; dip with a handful Marys Gone crackers and sliced cucumber 

Homemade trail mix: ¼ cup pumpkin seeds, 100% cacao chocolate chips (try Pascha brand), ¼ cup mixed nuts of choice (I like almonds, macadamia nuts, brazil nuts)

Sliced jicama squeezed with lime and chili powder and dipped into ¼ cup mashed avocado/sea salt

Half cup frozen cherries and 2 T coconut whipped cream (just add vanilla, no sweetener)

Chopped celery sticks spread with 2 T sunflower seed butter

½ avocado mashed with 1 T salsa-mix and serve with radishes & endives

Leftover cooked sweet potato with 1 T drizzled tahini and cinnamon/nutmeg/sea salt 

1 Siete grain free tortilla (any flavor) with 1 T 88 acres no sugar pumpkin seed butter and handful mashed raspberries (rolled up and sliced like sushi)

Egg salad (made with avocado oil mayo/salt/pepper) atop 1 brown rice cake, sprinkle with fresh basil/parsley
