• 2 cups of Basil
  • ½ cup Walnuts or Almonds
  • 2-3 cloves of Garlic
  • ¼ cup Nutritional yeast or pecorino romano cheese (if tolerated)- OPTIONAL
  • ½ cup Olive oil
  • 1 cup Greens- arugula, cooked broccoli, spinach, kale, steamed collard greens
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice

Cooking Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except oil and lemon juice in a food processor, until well blended slightly.
  2. Add in the oil and lemon juice and blend again until smooth, pesto like consistency forms.
  3. Enjoy over your meat, fish, roasted veggies, or mixed into your whole grains!
