A complete “Healthified” Thanksgiving Recipe Guide thanks to Five Journeys Functional Nutritionist, Meg Gerber!
All recipes are completely free of gluten and dairy as well as being majority grain free, plant-rich and made of colorful whole foods! Allergens and diet specifics have been included below each individual recipe. All recipes have been designed to be free of/very low in added sugar. If you are used to a sweeter taste palette these dessert recipes may not taste extremely sweet to you-feel free to increase the sugar portions as needed. To save time, Meg recommends making all recipes ahead of time and simply reheating or baking just before serving (disclaimer:I do recommend making the kale chips, salad, brussels and mac and cheese the day of if possible).
